When upgrading your audio system, a good clean signal is critical. The linkD is a versatile little box with a dual personality. First, it is an active, high output/ low impedance line output convertor (LOC). It was designed to work well with high power factory audio systems. It also functions as a high output voltage line driver, delivering over 10V RMS of output at less than 60ohms. If these numbers don't mean anything to you that's ok, they are really good.
It features auto turn-on via DC-offset or Audio Signal Detect. This allows the unit to turn on without the need of a remote wire, and even generates a +12V output to turn on the amplifier or other aftermarket devices in your system,. This makes it a great choice for upgrading an OEM audio system.
You've just installed a new audio system, but something isn't quite right. No matter how hard you try, you just can’t get the image positioned where you want it. Another common problem occurs in systems with multiple subwoofers, powered by multiple amplifiers. Issues with phasing can create a loss in bass output.
Our "Patent Pending" linkT provides a simple solution to these dilemmas. Using DSP Time Alignment technology, each dial represents a digit in the range of milliseconds (ms) of delay available. All dials in the maximum position equal 9.95ms of delay. The minimum increment of adjustment is .0625ms. 1 ms is equal to approximately 13.5in (0.34m). If all this sounds confusing, don't worry. It simply means you can control the time when the sound reaches your ears, so that any sound stage imaging or subwoofer phase problems are corrected.
When it comes to adding an amplifier or amplifiers to your factory audio system, the link4 does what models from competing brands just can’t. Simply put, it is the most flexible 4-channel LOC available today.
The link4 can directly accept 4-channels of input and give you 4-channels of output. It can accept 2-channels of input and give you 4-channels of output. If you input 4-channels, you can sum them down to 2-channels of output. It even has a 3.5mm Auxiliary Input so you can add your phone or other portable device to the system. No other 4-channel LOC can do all of that.
As an added bonus, it includes our "Patent Pending" Multi-Function Remote Level/ Source Control that can adjust your subwoofers output level, the volume of the auxiliary source or serve as a Master Volume Control for your entire system. This is especially useful in OEM systems where speed sensitive volume or equalization are present.
You have just added a subwoofer to your system but something just isn’t quite right. Maybe what is needed is a little bit of equalization? It could be that the crossover built into your amplifier doesn’t have a steep enough slope. Maybe you are using a ported enclosure and could really use a subsonic filter? Whatever the issue is, the bassFREQ can help resolve it.
The bassFREQ has RCA inputs but also includes the same class leading LOC as our link series products, so integrating with an OEM system is a snap. There is Parametric Equalization and a 24dB/ octave low pass crossover. A Remote Level Control (RLC) is included.
